Workplace bullying is a concern for many organisations, with some studies suggesting that as many as 1 in 3 employees will experience workplace bullying at some point in their careers. Although this statistic does appear alarming, research has revealed that while many bullying claims lodged for workers’ compensation psychological injury are genuine, nearly 50% are in fact the result of hypersensitive reactions to interpersonal interactions; a symptom of poor emotional resilience.
