Karen Schmidt CSP, BEd (Adult Ed) is an award winning speaker, workshop leader, facilitator and coach who has a passion for growing more engaging leaders. She believes that being a great leader is like being a great gardener and uses this philosophy to help people understand how to develop a more natural approach to leading that yields results.

Originally a Human Resources practitioner, Karen has been nurturing leaders for more than 20 years. Along the way she has led teams of permanent, temporary and volunteer workers.

To add to her practical experience she has a degree in Adult Education and is the author of two books.
