Contributing Author Recognition Program

The International Institute of Directors and Managers (IIDM) welcomes the participation of external contributing authors in the development of its professional development resources, and acknowledges their contribution through the Contributing Author Recognition Program .
Particpation in the Contributing Author Recognition Program can:
- Enhance your reputation as a thought leader in your area of expertise
- Give you / your organisation increased credibility in the eyes of your existing and potential clients
- Provide you with new ways to add value to your clients , offering them a free Premium Membership (conditions apply)
- Increase your profile on the IIDM website as a featured author on the Meet Some Of Our Contributors page and the Expert Talk section home page
- Allow you to connect to IIDM's social media audience through LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
- Provide a reason for you to contact existing and potential clients , advising them of your new status

About the Contributing Author Recognition Program (CARP)
|

Bronze Status
The criteria for acheiving Bronze Status , is as follows:
- A minimum of 5 articles published on the IIDM website
Having achieved the Bronze Status level, IIDM will recognise the author's contributions in the following ways:
- IIDM will activate the link at the end of each of the author's Expert Talk articles - On all existing articles, and new articles, to make it as easy as possible for IIDM's audience to contact you
- IIDM will connect to you on LinkedIn and write a "recommendation" on your profile - Adding to your credibility on the LinkedIn business networking site
- IIDM will "Follow" and "Like" the Author on Facebook and Twitter - This means that each time you submit a post, comment, etc., it will be distributed to CEO Online's ever growing social media audience
As a Bronze Status author, you will be required to:
- Include the Bronze Status seal on your website - With an activated hyperlink to the IIDM website
- Reciprocate the "Follow" and "Like" - On IIDM's Facebook and Twitter accounts

Silver Status
The criteria for acheiving Silver Status , is as follows:
- At least 7 articles published on the IIDM website
- Submission of at least ONE of the Premium professional development resources published on the IIDM website, which includes:
- Professional Development Webinar Facilitator
- Learning Module Author
- Audio Seminar Presenter
- Business Book Extract Author
- Video Seminar Presenter
Having achieved the Silver Status level, IIDM will recognise the author's contributions in the following ways:
- All of the benefits included in the Bronze Status level stated above, PLUS -
- A unique "Author Profile" page will be created - Including a professional photo, author bio, contact details and links to social media pages. A listing of all the author's articles published on the IIDM website (including links to the published articles).
This page will be featured on the Expert Talk section home page (at IIDM's discretion) View an example of the "Author Profile" page
- You will be eligible to offer your clients a free Membership to the IIDM website - Providing you with new ways to add value to your clients. An unlimited number of memberships can be registered.

As a Silver Status author, you will be required to:
- Include the Silver Status seal on your website's home page - With an activated hyperlink to the IIDM website. This link can be directed to the IIDM home page or your "Author Profile" page.

Gold Status
The IIDM Gold Status is the premier level in the Contributing Author Recognition Program .
The criteria for acheiving Gold Status , is as follows:
- 10 or more articles published on the IIDM website
- Submission of at least TWO of the Premium professional development resources published on the IIDM website, which includes:
- Professional Development Webinar Facilitator
- Learning Module Author
- Audio Seminar Presenter
- Business Book Extract Author
- Video Seminar Presenter
Having achieved the Gold Status level, IIDM will recognise the author's contributions in the following ways:
- All of the benefits included in the Silver Status level stated above, PLUS -
- The Gold Status author will be able to upgrade their clients to a "Premium Membership" - Providing you with even better ways to add value to your clients. An unlimited number of Premium memberships can be registered.

As a Gold Status author, you will be required to:
- Include the Gold Status seal on your website's home page, - With an activated hyperlink to the IIDM website. This link can be directed to the IIDM home page or your "Author Profile" page, and
- Include the Gold Status seal in each edition of your regular newsletter - With an activated hyperlink to the IIDM website. We will provide you with some suggested text, promoting the free Premium Membership offer.

How to join the Contributing Author Recognition Program (CARP)
|
Should you wish to participate in the Contributing Author Recognition Program (CARP) , please complete and return the CARP Application form, or contact us advising of your interest.
Upon verification of the publication status of the articles / resources listed in the CARP Application form, IIDM will send you the applicable Status Seal for inclusion on your website. Once IIDM receives notification of the URL where the seal and link to the IIDM website is published, we will activate the recognition activities associated with the applicable level and advise you of same.

Note: At this point in time, there is no availability to become an Audio Seminar Presenter. However, if you have been an Audio Seminar Presenter in the past, you may credit your participation towards the level you are applying for.
